
The Building Industry Association of Hawaii (BIA-Hawaii) honored Bob Armstrong as the Builder of the Decade for the 2000's at the December 3, 2009 BIA-Hawaii Annual Installation Dinner held at the newly opened Construction Training Center of the Pacific (CTC) in Waipahu.

Michael Brant, 2009 President of BIA-Hawaii stated "I am honored to present this award to a leader whose energy and focus have continued to guide our association leadership and inspire our members to stay involved. For his vision and many years of dedication, Bob Armstrong, President of Armstrong Builders, Ltd. and our Capital Campaign Chair, has led us from the beginning and inspired us to raise over $7 million dollars to build the Construction Training Center of the Pacific." He continued, "The CTC represents the commitment and collaboration of the community, all levels of government, business leaders and BIA-Hawaii members that have all united under Bob's leadership to enhance the quality of life for the people of Hawaii."
