Gary Herald is the head of Armstrong Design, Ltd. and has been the principal architect since 1985. 
He supervises the design of all Armstrong design-build home projects, works with outside architects on Armstrong's custom homes and commercial projects, and coordinates the design consultants on all Armstrong development projects. Mr. Herald also manages all design and permitting issues on Armstrong's development projects. He also assists Owners and Architects as needed for permit application and design work. Mr. Herald received his Bachelors Degree in Architecture in 1973 from Miami University and has 30 years of architectural experience. He is a registered, licensed architect in the following states: Ohio (1979); Texas (1982); and Hawaii (1985). During that time he has been the project architect on numerous projects, was the Chief Plans Examiner for the City of Dayton, Ohio, and run his own architectural practice.
