Armstrong Development is a developer-builder with long roots in Hawaii. We build what we develop, and we stand by what we build. We share the same quality standards, and we approach all the homes we build and sell, whether individual custom homes or production homes in our larger development projects, as Armstrong homes.
We are designed to move quickly. We grasp salient issues, make decisions, and implement. Our culture is one of action, and we focus on making things happen.
We undertake development projects only when we can create an exceptional community that meets a clear need and market, fits with Hawaii’s unique culture and lifestyle, and makes sense from a financial perspective. It is on these criteria that we have built our success.
When we decide to move forward with a project, we bring to it the Armstrong team’s diverse but complementary strengths in the areas of land planning, development, design, finance, sales and marketing, and construction. We excel in expediting the entitlement and permitting processes, and we work hard to develop and maintain trust and credibility in our relationships with County and State agencies. Our design process is informed by keen market analysis, focused intensely on the needs and desires of our target market, and refined for maximum construction efficiency with input from our construction division. Our marketing team reaches our potential buyers with focused messages delivered through traditional means and modern technology, and our sales team closely manages the contracts from signing through closing.
We have been blessed with exceptional partners, including landowners who have looked to us to create and manage successful joint venture development projects, designer and consultant teams, lenders and other sources of capital that have helped finance our track record of success, and contractors and vendors who have worked with us to achieve the exceptional quality we deliver. We value our partners and are committed to building on these successful long-term relationships.
We look for opportunities to benefit and improve the communities in which we work. Our development projects, in addition to meeting County and State requirements, have contributed directly to the surrounding communities with contributions for park improvements, school renovations, homeless and transitional housing, and historical and cultural preservation. The developments also help fund the Armstrong Foundation, which regularly contributes to a broader range of charitable causes and organizations.
KIHEI, MAUI (June 3, 2008) — The keys to the new “comfort station” at Kamaole Beach Park III were officially turned over to Mayor Tavares today by Bob Armstrong, managing member of developer Kai Malu Wailea, LLC . The design and construction of the restroom facility was paid for by the developer as part of a conditional SMA permit for the 150-unit Kai Malu at Wailea resort condominium project constructed by Armstrong Builders, LLC.
The developer of Kai Malu at Wailea honors U.S. Marines 4th Marine Division. The 4th Marine Division is an historic group of Marines who spent time training and living on Maui during World War II.
