Armstrong Foundation

Armstrong Foundation donated the materials and Armstrong Builders' staff donated the labor to build this playhouse for Child & Family Services.

Founded by Kelly and Bob Armstrong in 1993, the Armstrong Foundation is the charitable arm of the Armstrong Companies. The foundation primarily focuses on giving back to the communities in which we do business by making grants to non-profit organizations that:

  • provide educational opportunities
  • promote access to health care and social services
  • serve youth and children
  • enrich lives through culture and the arts
  • preserve the beauty of our land

In 2008, the Armstrong Foundation saw growing needs for critical services at a time when less funding and donations were available. The foundation increased its giving and supplemented its normal grants with those to organizations addressing critical needs:

  • food
  • shelter
  • social services
  • health services

The foundation has continued its heightened focus on critical needs in 2010. Following is a list of grants made by the Armstrong Foundation in 2010.
