Armstrong Builders is seeking applicants for our Construction Internship Program. Interns will have the opportunity to work with and shadow construction management personnel to gain insight in the day to day operations of residential and commercial building projects. Intern duties include but are not limited to procuring materials, managing RFl’s & submittals, visiting job sites, creating work plans, reviewing project plans and specifications, attending project meetings, contacting partners (subcontractors, suppliers, etc), and field operations. Be prepared to work a full-time schedule, 40+ hours per week.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture degrees preferred.
- Have the objective to work in the construction industry and gain experience.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of Bluebeam and Procore are a plus.
