Armstrong Design is responsible for the design of all Armstrong design-build residential and commercial projects, collaborations with outside architects on Armstrong’s custom homes and commercial projects, and coordination of the design consultants on all Armstrong development projects.

Our scope of work includes permitting, drawings, plans and construction management. David Miyasaki is the head of Armstrong Design and has been the principal architect since 2014.
Armstrong Builders has worked on numerous design-build projects, including luxury custom homes, resort residential homes and condominiums, commercial buildings, and shopping center. Our Armstrong Design Group provides what is needed to build effectively and efficiently. Armstrong Builders has a history of successful design-assist work—partnering with the top architectural firms in the state of Hawaii as well as Mainland and International firms serving clients in Hawaii. Our services include: exploratory work at the project site including 3D laser scans of the existing structures & property as well as design-assist coordination with design team, provide construction cost estimating, job site planning, scheduling, construction detailing, local means and methods, and material selection.

As head architect, David supervises the design of all Armstrong design-built home, custom home, commercial, and development projects.
Lindsay is responsible for architectural drawings, code and zoning research, and client and consultant coordination.
Architect, LEED Green Associate
Jessica brings her experience in commercial buildings and consultant coordination to manage a multitude of projects.
Ben's duties as a project designer include assisting with design development and review, organize documents and coordinating with the consultants and the field team.
